The region remains in good shape and this month’s meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Donald Trump was hailed as a success. But there is still plenty of work to be done. And that includes finding common ground quickly on a host of economic and security issues, before they risk leading to a trade war or a military conflict that derails the relationship.
I will be looking to add to this region on the next pullback, especially in markets where we currently lack exposure. For growth potential, India appears the strongest, due to its economic reforms and relatively insulated economy. But the timing is not quite right, so wait for my signal.
