If you’re starting to think that the world is a mess, you’re 100 percent right. It is a mess.
That includes the lousy state of affairs in American politics. Not since at least 1976 – and I would argue well before that – have we seen such a split in a party such as we are seeing today in the Republican Party, with a virtual and nasty free-for-all, boyish, schoolyard fight going on.
Put another way, the Republican Party is in the middle of its own civil war. It’s splitting apart at the seams.
Meanwhile, in the other corner, the Democrats are leading the fight for the White House with a woman who could soon be indicted by a grand jury and barred from running for the Democratic nomination, no less for the Presidency of the United States.
On the surface, for many people, this is just the nasty game of politics, no different than other election cycles.
But I completely disagree. What is happening today in American politics and the race for the next presidency is extremely serious, unprecedented, and a perfect example of the rising tide of the war cycles I have been warning you about …
Which is seeing anti-establishment protests and civil-war like movements all over the world.
Don’t believe me? Let’s run through a few examples. Some of them may seem very different in nature, yet they are all related by a common theme.
– In Europe, separatist and regionalist movements are at record highs, with more than 65 movements actively underway throughout Europe’s 50 countries.
Each of the movements has its unique reasons of course, but each and every one of them is an anti-establishment movement.
They range from the far right politics of Marine Le Pen’s National Front Party in France, which could easily be characterized as a communist separatist movement looking to overthrow the established conservative, socialist French government …
To Scotland’s movement to secede from Great Britain … to Catalonia seceding from Spain …
To Sicily and northern Italy wanting to split Italy into three regions …
To Bavaria wanting to split Germany in two …
To the hostile ISIS infiltrating Europe desiring to extend its caliphate …
And more, including a rise in anti-Semitism and neo-Nazis in Europe, the likes of which have not been seen since the 1930s.
That’s just Europe. In Africa, separatist movements are also at record highs, with virtually every one of Africa’s 54 countries showing separatist groups building in numbers.
That doesn’t even include the rising tide of terrorism in Africa, spearheaded by Boko Haram, but also including al-Qaeda, Al-Shabaab and the Lord’s Resistance Army of Uganda.
What about South America? Separatism and anti-establishment movements also at record highs, especially in Brazil, where there are now six different groups looking to split Brazil into six different countries.
Think Canada is immune? No, it is not. Newfoundland, Labrador, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia and the Yukon – are all seeking to split from Canada to form their own countries.
Then there’s Great Britain which is seeking to exit the European Union, with a referendum slated for this June.
What about right here at home, in the U.S.A? Also at new record highs …
– 30 out of the fifty states have movements to “partition” themselves into new entities of one or more states, such as Northern and Southern California …
– While there are a record eight major separatist movements gaining strength in Alaska, California, New Hampshire, Texas, Vermont and Hawaii, not to mention regional separatist movements such as the Confederate States of America (CSA) …
Which includes the original states of the Confederate Constitution of South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas …
Still active and growing, pushing for the Confederacy to secede from the rest of the nation …
And the Cascadia Independence Movement (CIM) seeking to create a new country from the likes of Washington, Oregon, to parts of Southeast Alaska and Northern California, Idaho, Western Montana, Wyoming, and Yukon.
Hard to imagine isn’t it? But each and every one of these movements in each and every region of the world that I just mentioned is at record highs in terms of the numbers of movements … and they are all growing in members and becoming more and more vocal.
Moreover, over the next few years, I expect many of them to actually secede, especially Scotland pulling out of the UK, the UK pulling out of the EU, Catalonia splitting from Spain and more.
Here in the U.S., we may also see states secede by 2020. For there should be no question by now that what I have been warning you about all along – that a sovereign sector debt and political crisis – is starting to unfold, right on cue.
Just consider what is happening on the U.S. political front …
– Are Hillary or Bernie Sanders talking about our country’s massive $18 trillion in debts or the additional $155 trillion in unofficial debts?
No, neither one is addressing it in any detail.
Instead, both of them are talking policies that will cause our country’s debt to mushroom even further, to explode and bankrupt this country, leading to higher and higher taxes, wealth confiscation, further attacks on the rich and more …
All harebrained economic policies that will destroy our country.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party’s policies aren’t all that different. They call themselves conservatives, but I see nothing conservative with an $18 trillion debt that the Republicans also pretty much refuse to address and are even also responsible for.
And where they are different and actually good – such as Ted Cruz’s position to abolish the IRS and institute a flat tax … nothing will ever get accomplished – because the Republican Party is in the midst of its own civil war and its own form of secessionist movement …
Which is likely to give rise to a third party down the road, probably led by Donald Trump, whose economic policies, or what we know of them at this point, are scant, to say the least.
Is it any wonder gold is starting to rally?
Rallying with no inflation in sight? Rallying with a strong dollar? It shouldn’t be.
Although the first leg up in gold’s new bull market should come to a close sometime early next week near the $1,300 level or slightly above and be followed by a sharp pullback into April/May …
And then another leg higher into the end of the year … and eventually to over $5,000 an ounce by 2020 …
It should be very clear to you by now that what I have been warning you about all along is coming true in spades:
We are entering a sovereign crisis of untold proportions. Everything sovereign, from sovereign debt markets, to political parties and philosophies to sovereign borders … to the monetary systems of the world …
Will crash and burn, leading to devastating losses for those unprepared and once-in-a-lifetime fortunes for those who are.
You and I are in that latter group and will build fortunes. For you, as a member, see everything I have been warning you about, coming true in spades.
Hold all current positions and get ready – for I will soon be ramping up the trading action substantially.
Best wishes, as always …
